Major Events in 2023

We are truly grateful to all the members who were supporting CPFWP all these years and making each and every event a great success! We are not only inviting Chinese, overseas Chinese, diaspora Chinese from all over the world but everyone who is interested in traditional culture, the value of filial piety, bringing peace to the changing time. As the Chinese ancients said, people around the world are brothers and sisters (四海皆兄弟).  So, we believe by gathering people to have collective wisdom, treat everyone as our own family which will bring us to one big family under Heaven (天下一家).

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

Chinese celebrate the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival on the 15th day of 8th month of the lunar calendar which falls on the 10th of August this year. Similar festival also celebrated in Korea, Japan and other countries in Southeast Asia. The Chinese believe that the Moon is at its brightest and fullest size, coinciding with harvest time in the middle of Autumn. So, on that day it is also known as Moon Festival and people would enjoy homemade mooncakes together with families.
