Origins of the Chinese World Assembly
The Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace (CPFWP) was in inaugurated in eight nations before November 2019, under the leadership of Mr. Thomas Hwang, International Advisor. At the same time, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon was invited to preside over the “Universal Ideal Family Festival” in Taiwan. In appreciation of the foundation made by the CPFWP, and the opportune visit by Dr. Chang King-Yuh, President of CPFWP-Taiwan, took the lead in hosting the first World Chinese Assembly on November 22, 2019 at the Taipei Marriott Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. Prof.Dr.Krasae Chanawongse from Thailand, recipient of the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award, graciously expressed his interest in visiting Taiwan to speak on his contributions to society as a Chinese.

The Assembly seeks to advance the vision of world peace, including cross-strait harmony and peace in the Greater Chinese Region, based on the traditional Chinese concepts of respecting Heaven, upholding human dignity, honoring the family, and seeking harmony in all relationships. We invite the participation of leaders and future leaders from Taiwan and other countries. The program includes keynote speeches by world-class speakers, special presentations by prominent Chinese leaders, intergenerational discussion forums, working groups and networking oppotunities.
We expect 300 participants from 13 nations and regions.

Nations and Regions: Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, U.S.A and Vietnam.
